Announcement by HEDNO, as a Non-Interconnected Islands (NII) Operator, on the billing of RES stations operating at NIIs (January 2025)
We would like to inform you that HEDNO, as the Non-Interconnected Islands (NII) operator, published, on 24.02.2025, the Notes on Billing of the RES Producers who are operating at the NIIs for the billing period of January 2025.
Please note that for the current January 2025 billing, the Backdated Billing Notes for PV Stations under Article 48 of Law 4951/2022 on “Upgrading energy equipment for PV Stations” have been uploaded. The NII Operator prepares a list of PV Stations, in accordance with Paragraph 3 of Article 48, Law 4951/2022. This list is updated annually from 2022 onward to include PV Stations whose annual production shows a significant increase, as specified in Paragraph 2 of Article 48 of the same Law. The portion of the energy showing a significant increase is compensated at the Annual Special Market Price, as defined in Section d of Paragraph 1 of Article 48 of the above law, as this has been calculated by the Renewable Energy Sources Operator & Guarantees of Origin (DAPEEP).
In accordance with paragraph 5 of Article 48, Law 4951/2022, PV Station Producers who are included in the 2024 list, are eligible to apply until 24.04.2025 to the NII Operator for an inspection to verify that their station’s equipment has not been upgraded. If it is demonstrated that the station has not been upgraded, the NII Operator compensates the station at the Reference Price agreed upon in its contract and refunds the amounts of backdated billing that were offset in accordance with Paragraph 4 of Article 48 of Law 4951/2022.
The Notes are available online in the RES & CHP Online Clearance Notes System. The app is available here https://apps.deddie.gr/ApeInvoicesInfo/intro.html or by visiting the “Enter the RES Producers App” link at Non-Interconnected Islands section at HEDNO’s website.
