The System and Network Operators announce the available unused margin for the safe absorption of power from Renewable Energy Source (RES) stations within the saturated Peloponnese grid (specifically, the network downstream of the Koumoundourou Ultra-High Voltage Center), taking into account the margins specified in RAE Decision 663/2019 (published in Government Gazette 3660 B'/2.10.2019) and considers power already reserved by stations currently in operation or with a Final Connection Offer as well as stations covered under paragraph 1 of Article 132 of Law 4819/2021, as currently applicable. The details are outlined in the following Table:

The above unused margin will be covered by the Operators through the issuance of Final Connection Offers to stations of the updated IPTO and HEDNO Single List of pending requests for granting final connection offers to RES & CHP stations in the saturated grid of the Peloponnese, in accordance with the details of Part D (Priority Framework applied by the System Operator and the Network Operator in areas with saturated grids) of Ministerial Decision ΥΠΕΝ/ΓΔΕ/84014/7123, GG Β΄4333/12.08.2022, as in force. For the stations to be installed in the area of Troizinia, a Final Connection Offer cannot be issued at present due to the saturation of the local 150 kV grid, at least until the completion of the grid’s reinforcement project, when the above possibility will be re-examined. It is estimated that the above project will be completed in the 2nd Semester of 2025 (Project 14.21 of the Preliminary Plan ENTSO-E’s 10-year network development plan (TYNDP) for the 2024-2033 period).

Finally, the following table includes power reservation from RES and CHP stations in operation and with a Final Connection Offer in the Peloponnese grid that are not included in the margins of Decision RAE 663/2019.

As per paragraph 12 of Article 97 of Law 4951/2022 (as supplemented by Article 60 of Law 5151/2024) with the exhaustion of the available margins, other pending applications for the connection of RES plants are rejected by the competent Operators and letters of guarantee submitted are returned.
