Announcement by HEDNO on the exhaustion of the margin in the saturated network of the Peloponnese by PV stations under Article 132 of Law 4819/2021

In accordance with the provisions of Article 132 of Law 4819/2021 (Government Gazette A' 129/23.07.2021), a maximum total capacity of 86 MW has been set to be allocated exclusively to photovoltaic stations with an installed capacity of up to 400 kW by natural or legal person Producers, excluding Energy Communities under Law 4513/2018, in the saturated network of the Peloponnese, as specified in Decision No. 699/2012 of the Regulatory Authority for Energy.
Given that the planned power margin of 86 MW has been fully exhausted, the Network Operator shall, for the remaining connection requests submitted in accordance with Article 132 of Law 4819/2021, shall take the following actions, in accordance with the provisions of that article and Article 2 of Ministerial Decision ΥΠΕΝ/ΔΑΠΕΕΚ/81744/3673 (Government Gazette B 4221/10.08.2022):
• rejection of pending applications for technical examination;
• rejection of applications for which a letter of failure to connect to the Network has been issued and the Producers have expressed interest in keeping their application pending;
• return of the letters of guarantee submitted for the above rejected applications.
