IPTO and HEDNO joint communication on the issuance of the Final Connection Offers for the purpose of participating in the pilot competitive bidding process for photovoltaic installations under Article 7 of L.4414/2016

Under provisions in L.4414/2016 and in particular Article 7 thereof, System and Network Operators inform all interested parties of the following:

Interested parties that are eligible to re-apply for a Final Connection Offer as per the provisions in Article 7, para. 12, of L.4414/2016, shall have, in addition to the application for a new Final Connection Offer, to present to the competent Operator the Letter of Guarantee provided under provisions in L. 4152/2013 as in force, within two months from issuance of L.4414/2016 as required, i.e., no later than 09.10.2016, as required, in order to ensure eligibility for the pilot competitive bidding process for photovoltaic installations. Interested parties should contact the System or Network Operator insofar as they initially held a Final Connection Offer for connection to the System or Network respectively.

As regards photovoltaic installations that hold or are going to hold a Final Connection Offer following issuance of L.4414/2016, in order to ensure eligibility for the pilot competitive bidding process, within the required two-month timeframe and in any event no later than the date of the Call for the pilot competitive bidding process, interested parties should present the Final Connection Offer Issuing Operator with the acceptance thereof, together with the required Letter of Guarantee under L.4152/2013 as in force1.

Applications for a new Final Connection Offer, acceptances of Final Connection Offers following L.4414/2016 and related Letters of Guarantee shall be submitted, as regards System Operator (IPTO) at its headquarters, 89, Dyrrachiou & Kifisou Str. (office No. 310), and for Network Operator (HEDNO) on the main premises, i.e., the Department of Network Users, at 23, Syggrou Ave. 1st floor (office No. 13) irrespective of power capacity, point of submission of the initial application and HEDNO Final Connection Offer Issuing unit.
