Following the receipt of clarifications by the Ministry of Energy regarding the guarantee letters to be submitted as part of the applications for a Final Connection Offer for individual Electricity Storage Stations, and as part of the implementation of Article 41 of Law 5151/2024, and following the HEDNO announcement dated 06.12.2024, the Network Operator would like to provide the following information:

• The reduction of the guarantee letter amount stipulated in section (b) of para. 3 of article 89Α, of law 4951/2022, as supplemented with Article 37 of Law 5151/2024, does not apply for Electricity Storage Stations.
• The guarantee letter for applications to receive a Final Connection Offer for Electricity Storage Stations must be submitted at 100% of the amount stipulated according to para. 3 of Article 6, Law 4951/2022.
• Requests already submitted to HEDNO with a reduced guarantee letter, in accordance with (b) of para. 3 of article 89Α, of law 4951/2022, will be reviewed considering the reduced guarantee. After the applicant is notified that their application is complete (based on the reduced guarantee letter), they will be invited to submit, within 10 days of the completeness verification date, an additional guarantee letter covering up to 100% of the estimated amount for Electricity Storage Stations without the reduction (Paragraph 3 of Article 6, Law 4951/2022).
