HEDNO’s Department of Central Greece Region proceeded to the provision of a vehicle and a driver for the transportation of school items to the Holly Metropolis of Alexandroupoli, so as to support the students in Constantinople and Imvros.

In detail, school items were collected within the framework of initiative adopted by the Holly Metropolis of Fokida in cooperation with the Municipalities of Delfi and Dorida and the contribution of the School Units of the Municipality, as well as the missionary center of Itea, so as to support the Greek students of Constantinople and Imvros.

Following the relevant appeal to HEDNO’s contribution for the transportation and dispatch of the collected items to the Holly Metropolis of Alexandroupoli, the Department of Central Greece Region provided immediately a vehicle with a driver and the task was accomplished successfully on the 20th and 21st of October.

The task is integrated within HEDNO’s wider policy to support vulnerable groups by undertaking initiatives that reinforce its relation with the society ascertaining its humanism and sensitivity.
