The employees of the Department of Peloponnese-Epirus Region in Patra, within the framework of the initiative “Power of Solidarity, Power of Affection and Humanity” gathered large quantities of food and basic necessities during Christmas season 2014 in order to support vulnerable social groups.
 
The necessities were delivered on Tuesday 23.12.2014 to the Foundation for disabled children with chronic incurable diseases “KIVOTOS TIS AGAPIS” (“Ark of Love”) and to “STEGI GALINIS” (“Home of Tranquility”) of the Holy Metropolis of Patra.

The specific initiative of social sensitivity “Power of Solidarity, Power of Affection and Humanity” undertaken by the employees of the Department of Peloponnese-Epirus Region has been launched since 2013 and during these holidays it was supported by the Group of PPC’s Personnel and Pensioners of Achaia Prefecture.

The charitable nature of such initiatives highlights the Corporation’s work as social partner and its indispensable relation with the local society where it is activating.

At the same time, the corporate culture is enhanced through similar group actions of Social Responsibility undertaken by the personnel for a common social cause.
