With the aim to offer help to people who suffer, HEDNO has undertaken a new initiative to support the refugees during the holiday season motivating its employees to gather goods of first need.

From mid-December 2015 until mid-January 2016, the goods gathered by the Corporation’s employees were delivered to Elaionas, Lesvos, Samos, Chios, Kos and Leros. In total, 89 boxes and bags were delivered with goods of first need and toys.

HEDNO would like to thank all colleagues for their precious contribution and for their awareness to the great issue referring to refugees and their needs for survival.

Within the difficult period that we are going through, the need for awareness by all is necessary and with this new initiative, HEDNO inaugurates new series of actions in order to face the lack in goods of first need for the refugees in regular time periods.

Within the framework of its Corporate Social Responsibility, HEDNO considers as imperative not only to continue but also to expand these actions.

It is reminded that HEDNO stands next to the refugees from the first moment, by completing successfully in record time the works for the establishment of the necessary infrastructure in the hospitality center of Elaionas and in other areas of Greece.
