HEDNO donated personal protection items to the Civil Protection Volunteer Team of the Municipality of Penteli.         

The Company responded immediately to the call of the Municipality by donating fifty (50) heat shields and fifty (50) trousers for the personal protection of the volunteers who are members of the Civil Protection Team of the Municipality.    

The Volunteer Department of the Civil Protection & Natural Disaster Division of the Municipality of Penteli is promoting volunteer activities for the general awareness around the participation of citizens in volunteer-based initiatives for the environment and emergency situations and helps with setting up Volunteer Teams that are incorporated in the staff of the Municipality for carrying out Emergency Case Plans etc.

As part of its Corporate Responsibility, HEDNO is supporting similar activities and initiatives, believing that the protection of the environment and the fire safety of wood structures is essential not only for the electricity network but also for the preservation of fauna and flora.
