The social sensitivity initiative «Power of Solidarity, Power of Affection and Humanity” is undertaken by the personnel of the Department of Peloponnese-Epirus Region.

Within the framework of the initiative adopted by HEDNO’s Department of Peloponnese-Epirus Region in Patra, food and basic necessities were delivered on Tuesday 4/3/14 to the Foundation for disabled children with chronic incurable diseases “KIVOTOS TIS AGAPIS” (“Ark of Love”) and the equipment of a solar water heater to the Therapeutic Educational Center of Patra for People with intellectual impairment “I MERIMNA” (“THE CARE”). The social sensitivity initiative “Power of Solidarity, Power of Affection and Humanity” which was adopted by the personnel of the Department of Peloponnese-Epirus Region began in 2013 and it is actively supported also by the Union of Administrative and Financial Personnel, Union of Technicians PPC Greece, the Association of PPC’s pensioners in Peloponnese-Epirus & Ionian Islands, as well as by the Group of Collegial Events for PPC’s Personnel and Pensioners. The charitable character of such events highlights the Corporation’s social work and ascertains its humanism and social sensitivity. At the same time, the corporate culture is enhanced through the group participation of the personnel for a common social cause.
