HEDNO supports the Cultural-Sports Association of the Thessaloniki PPC Personnel
As part of its corporate social responsibility strategy, HEDNO supported, for the 3rd consecutive year, the Cultural-Sports Association of the Thessaloniki PPC Personnel to help with the purchase of audio equipment for the “Electric Company” unit.
The Cultural-Sports Association of the Thessaloniki PPC Personnel was founded in 1972 to encourage artistic and sports awareness among the employees at PPC. Today, the Association has 520 members who are PPC S.A., HEDNO S.A. and IPTO S.A. employees and pensioners. 280 of them are employees at HEDNO S.A.
The Association is running a cultural section (traditional and modern dance, electrical music company) as well as several sports departments (basketball, football, yoga-pilates and chess). Its program also includes excursions and trips, theater plays and children events (for the Christmas and Easter holidays) as well as the participation to a plethora of charity events and cultural events.
With this donation, HEDNO S.A. promotes stronger bonds among its personnel and manages to become a supporter for local communities.
