In the context of the Corporate Social Responsibility actions aiming at supporting vulnerable social groups, in particular children, HEDNO proceeded to financially assist the Food Aid and Promotion of Healthy Nutrition Program - DIATROFI, of the Institute of Preventive Medicine, Environmental and Occupational Health, Prolepsis.

Through DIATROFI program, the Institute provides on a daily basis thousands of students in vulnerable areas of Greece with free nutritious meals with multiple benefits both for their health as well as their progress.

With the support of HEDNO and in cooperation with the Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF), which donates an amount of money equal to any amount collected from another source, 120 students of the 24th and 39th kindergartens of Athens were offered food aid for the school year 2017-2018.

HEDNO provides support for actions that aim at improving the quality of the society’s life and also welcomes such actions, especially when they concern vulnerable groups.
