HEDNO is silver donor for the 5th International Rhodes Marathon
HEDNO participates in environmental and cultural initiatives in local communities across Greece to support regional growth. In this respect, we have supported the 5th International Rhodes Marathon as a silver donor.
The International Rhodes Marathon includes the 10 & 15 kilometer Semi Marathon and the kids race and will be held for the 5th consecutive year on 29 April 2018.
With more than 2500 runners from Greece and 15 other countries, 400 volunteers and the support of the local community, the marathon has become a permanent fixture and aims to turn into a reference sports event not just for Rhodes but also for the whole Region of South Aegean.
The race is co-organized by EAS SEGAS DODECANESE, the Region of South Aegean and the non-profit organization “RHODES MARATHON” with the support of the Municipality of Rhodes and the Rhodes Hotel Owners Association. This year, it is also held under the auspices of the Greek National Tourism Organization and the Ministry of Tourism.
The event is certified by SEGAS, the International Association of Athletic Federations and the Association of International Marathons and Distance Races. The race will unfold along a beautiful route by the sea highlighted by Rhodes landmark sites.
HEDNO, with its commitment to support Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives, as well as the rest of the organizers, aim to promote athletic values for the younger generations, draw in champion race runners and people who love sports from across the world, and help athletic Tourism grow bigger.
