Beneficiaries and Conditions for the Solidarity Services Tariff

The account must by opened in the trade name of the welfare agency. If the meter is not associated with the agency, before submitting the application for entering the Solidarity Services Tariff, the agency must proceed with all necessary actions to have the invoice issued to their name and the address of the property which receives the solidarity service. If, for changing the name on the meter, an updated Installer Solemn Declaration is required, this can also be submitted after the entry into the Solidarity Services Tariff procedure and it shall by no means prevent its completion.

All Social Residential Tariff beneficiaries must meet the following requirements for each category:

CATEGORY A

Properly certified, in accordance with the provisions of article 5, L. 2646/1998, non-profit private law legal entities, which provide social care services.

When submitting their online application, category A applicants consent to the search of the submitted details by the competent authorities of the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs which shall verify the eligibility of the applicant.

CATEGORY B

Church-related charities and institutions that provide community food aid services and therefore maintain cooking and refectory facilities.

When submitting their online application, category B applicants consent to the search and verification of of the submitted details by the competent church institution.

Category B applicants shall also include in their application a certificate by the approval agency, according to which the applicant meets the entry requirements, namely that it operates as a church institution and provides community food aid services and therefore maintains cooking and refectory facilities.

CATEGORY C

Includes public law legal entities that provide welfare services and are supervised by the Ministry of Labour, Social Security and Welfare.

When submitting their online application, category C applicants consent to the search of the submitted details by the competent authorities of the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs which shall verify the eligibility of the applicant.

CATEGORY D

Social solidarity municipality-established organizations operating in municipal buildings (social groceries, social clinics and community food aid services).

When submitting their online application, category D applicants consent to the search and verification of the submitted details by the competent municipality-established organization.

Category D applicants shall also include in their application a certificate by the competent municipality-established organization, according to which the applicant meets the entry requirements, namely that it operates as a municipality-established organization which is housed in a public building or a building leased by them (social groceries, social clinics and community food aid services).
