HEDNO stands by students in vulnerable areas
For second consecutive school year, HEDNO decided to financially support the Food Aid and Promotion of Healthy Nutrition Program - DIATROFI, of Prolepsis, the Institute of Preventive Medicine, Environmental and Occupational Health.
Through DIATROFI program, nutritious meals are offered free-of-charge on a daily basis to thousands of students in vulnerable areas of Greece.
In particular, HEDNO’s donation covered the daily offer of healthy meals (8,000 meals in total) for the 81 students of the two kindergartens in Aspropyrgos (6th and 7th Aspropyrgos Kindergartens) up to the end of the 2018-2019 school year.
HEDNO, in the context of corporate social responsibility supports the activities that contribute to the improvement of the living standards, especially the ones related to basic human needs such as children’s food.
