This is the third year that HEDNO donates rescue equipment to the Hellenic Rescue Team to support and facilitate their activities.

HEDNO responded immediately to the call of the Hellenic Rescue Team and donated one Flir E8XT - long-rage infrared camera which is used by volunteers for detecting survivors at natural disaster sites along with training purposes by the Disaster Management Department.

The Hellenic Rescue Team is a search and rescue certified, volunteer non-governmental organization seated in Thessaloniki. It has 31 branches across Greece, with approximately 2.500 volunteers who are participating in mass disaster emergency search and rescue operations in Greece and abroad for safeguarding human life.
